The California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC) is a cashback tax credit that puts money back into the pockets of California’s working families and individuals, including the self-employed!

The amount of your cashback tax credit depends on your income and the size of your family. If you earned $30,000 or less in 2019 and are a citizen or legal permanent resident, you may qualify for the CalEITC. If you earned $55,952 or less in 2019, you may qualify for the federal EITC. Qualifying income includes wages, salaries, tips, and self-reported income.
